Overview
Abiran is a label for urban ethnic wear: bridal lehengas, sarees and occasion pieces, made with dense handwork.
We designed and built its storefront, the content system behind it and the platform both of them run on.

Pieces like these are chosen on the strength of photographs, fabric and story.
Most store templates sell them like any other stock: a price, a grid and a checkout. Abiran needed pages that slow down, and a way for its own team to compose them without calling a developer.
Orders work differently too. The studio confirms every piece, fit and timeline with the customer, so the site had to lead into a conversation, not a card payment.
Outcome
We designed a storefront that reads like a lookbook: Cormorant Garamond for display, Manrope for everything read quickly, on a warm paper ground with ink, gold and a deep rani pink.
The home page is a run of editorial sections the team arranges in the CMS. Every product page carries the piece’s story, its material and care and a size guide, and ends in a conversation on WhatsApp.
The footer is a live WebGL plate of rose-gold liquid metal with the wordmark stamped into it, and a still poster wherever WebGL is not available.
Behind it, a Cloudflare Worker serves the catalogue, the CMS and sign-in. The team manages products, collections, media and lookbooks with drafts, publishing, history and five roles from viewer to owner.
The result is a storefront the label composes and publishes itself.
Highlights
A footer poured in liquid metal
Every page ends on a plate of rose-gold metal, rendered live in WebGL. It crawls slowly, and gives a little wherever a cursor or a finger presses into it.
The wordmark is stamped into the plate. Its face has cooled and set while the metal around it keeps moving, and its bevel is lit from the upper left. This is the same shader, running here.
